A good first hotel for Indian experience

This was my first hotel during my short trip to India. We chose this because it was relatively well located (walking distance to the historical city center) and the previous favorable reviews. The staff was friendly, although many had a limited English communications skills. The rooms had a decent size and were in relatively good condition (some items were a bit old, but still clean). The restaurant served decent food for a very good price, although the breakfast had a lot more indian-style choices than the continental breakfast that I'm used to. Still, a good choice and I would repeat the stay.

Very Ok place. Reasonable price, few problems with room, facilities and noise issues. Location bit run down but central enough. Food quality good but breakfast area in serious need of revamping and cleaning, very bad. Pool area, didn’t use but looked nice. Has potential to be much better.

不大但該有的都俱備,有室外游泳池,免費機場接送, 乾淨舒適,服務人員親切,只是如同印度其他地方飛砂嚴重 飯店room service反應迅速且不另加額外費用, hotel 用餐選擇多且價格比外面餐館便宜

Уютная гостиница в Джайпуре

Гостиница Hotel Gandharva By Peppermint оставила приятные впечатления. В стоимость номера был включен бесплатный трансфер из аэропорта. Нас встретили (хотя рейс был задержан) и с комфортом доставили в гостиницу. Персонал в гостинице - приветливый. Номер - небольшой, но очень уютный. При заезде не было холодильника, мы его попросили вечером, и его принесли уже в 8 утра. Из окна открывался вид на внутренний дворик с бассейном. Завтраки и ужины были очень вкусные (их можно было заказывать в номер). Гостиница находится в 30 минутах пешком от ЖД вокзала.

Rooms not clean and unsanitary....

Tries to be swanky but the cleanliness of the hotel is very poor. Walls in room were marked up and extremely dirty. There was garbage left in the room and not cleaned up upon check in. Also, underneath the bed was very dirty and dusty. Service was decent minus the lack of concern when we explained that the room was dirty. No one was sent up to the room to collect the garbage that was left till the next day when we complained again. Location isnt the best. Located in a congested area. I would not stay here again due to the uncleanliness.

Very poor condition & service

The rooms are extremely small. The room door of the room didn't lock. There is no F&B service post 10:30 pm, not even a limited menu. No mini bar/refrigerator in the room. Electric kettle was broken. The bath room/shower area doesn't even have a place to keep a soap/shampoo. Noisy neighborhood.

Nice hotel however transportation was not set rate

I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, however I didn't realize until afterwards that the pricing for taxi rides were negotiable. I was little upset after a few rides to realize that each arrange taxi ride made from the hotel was negotiable and not a set rate, I wish they would have told us so that we could have bargained for a lesser transportation ride. Overall, the hotel was nice, clean, breakfast daily. The location was in a very busy area, by the metro and 15-20 minutes from Jaipur City Palace (Although I recommend getting a ride there bc there's just so much traffic).

Convenient and clean hotel.

Traveled with my parents, wife and 3 year old. Pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the services they offered. Loved the free airport pickup. The rooms were good size for raising after a long day sightseeing. The restaurant had really good food. The breakfast was amazing and had a lot of variety. Dinner was really tasty so much that we had food at the hotel except for one day. The hotel was well maintained and the staff were very helpful. Loved the hotel and the services they offered. Especially Jitender their in-house travel agent was awesome.

Group travellers booked in hotel in large numbers.

These travelers could be highly indisciplined and most un hygenic. If you are in bad luck you can end up in this nightmare. Hotel staff is accomodative and request in advance so that you would not bump in to these group travelers for breakfast room stay etc. Travel desk is excellent. Front desk staff very good. House keeping of room very good.

Nothing special

This hotel was neat and clean(although with shoes off the floor felt very gritty) but it had nothing exciting about it. We got the impression that this hotel is catered for business men and indians rather than tourists.... which is fine- we just wish we knew that previously! The staff were neither welcoming or rude- which is a shame... took a long time to get things done... the location is not very attractive but it is very close to the old city- within walking distance which is ideal! Although no places to eat close by- we got a ride every night for somewhere to eat. The hotel is on a very busy road so it is noisy until late at night and you can hear EVERYTHING that is happening in the corridor/other rooms- making it very noisy overnight..... so i guess it depends on what you want out of jaipur!

Nice new hotel

Clean comfortable rooms, great shower, all the sites a short tuk tuk ride away Great hotel to stay in. Our only complaint was there was always someone hanging around waiting for a tip, to the stage it made us feel uncomfortable. If the service is good then you will get tips.
