Town and Country Inn & Resort

Town and Country Inn & Resort

8/10 Good
"The room was spacious, the pool and hot tub were very clean ! Check in with the office was quick and easy . We had a room in the back so it was a little noisy and we were only given 1 package of regular coffee. Rest was decaf but we could have easily called the office and remedied the problem . We would definitely stay here again ."

Whitneys Inn at Black Mountain

Whitneys Inn at Black Mountain

10/10 Excellent
"80-90s ski lodge decor and feel to this hotel. My wife and I loved it. Very cozy and old school relaxed feel. Everyone who works here is amazing and pleasant. Really appreciated our interaction with them. There is a pub attached to the hotel and it’s great too. The Old Shovel. Breakfast is pick up and go so water, orange juice, coffee, granola bars, muffins and fruits. I like this option to start the day. The outdoor pool, two hot tubs and sauna are a welcome site after a day of hiking. Almost all the rooms have one bed so mostly couples were present during our stay. The quiet nights with open windows and the fresh mountain air made for a refreshing vacation. No screaming children running around is a relief. There were a few around but everyone respected the quiet time rules of the hotel. Loved our stay and I would recommend Whitney’s to everyone who wants a pleasant stay in any season."
