"We were there for a work event. Check in was great, the rooms were ok. The entrance was very narrow until you reach the bed. Very small area. I sensed that the room needed to be aired out. The pillows and mattress were, "well used" and had an air of that as well. When I was working from my hotel room, the cleaning staff wanted to clean my room. We were gone from 7:45am with the door tag on! It was 3:45pm to 4pm when they asked me to leave the room as they wanted to go home for the day. I had to go work at the work station in the lobby with NO privacy for me to make calls. It was there that I had a converstation with the hotel chain head office gal. I wished I had her name! I explained and she listened. The guy at the front desk was not helpful for my situation. That was frustrating for me. I suggest checking which folks are GONE at early hours and clean those rooms first! Although I sympathize with the girls wanting to go home, it didn't help me at all with deadlines for my job. "

"The heater didn't work so we had to change rooms. There was a strange smell in the room like people had smoked in it. The pool and hot tub were very small. The breakfast was only eggs, sausage and potatoes and huge line ups."

"The staff are super friendly. The hotel looks to be newer, which I liked. Super close to the Canadian Tire Centre and they offered a shuttle there and back for the Ottawa Senators game (very low fee). We loved this convenience! Every day they had fresh baked cookies out at reception. Was a nice treat and a nice touch. The only thing that wasn’t a wow was the food in the restaurant. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We enjoy staying at this hotel and have chosen it repeatedly for its cleanliness and spacious suites with a full-sized refrigerator and a stove top and microwave. It makes things comfortable for our 7 day stays. The hotel is well-located in Kanata and near Centrum) a large shopping area with a bowling centre and movie theaters. It is also fairly close to the Canadian Tire sports Centre. If we need anything while staying at this hotel, the staff are very helpful. It is “our home away from home”. "
