"Staff was very polite and helpful! Some Downfalls were that our keys stopped working a day before our checkout, we were able to get resolved rather quickly, just inconvenient. Whirlpool/jetted tub in the room that we specifically came to this hotel to use, was disgusting. We cleaned it 4 times and still it had gross brown scum floating in the water after the jets ran for a few minutes, which made us a little disgusted and uneasy. We were unable to use the jetted tub due to fears that the nasty scum would come out again. lastly, it seemed like there was not enough breakfast to go around."

Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared each morning. You can really tell they care about their guests’ experience. "Brian and David are the best friendliest host , they made us feel at home and loved their hospitality. They have maintained this property beautifully till the last corner of the home. We loved our room from hand painted walls to the canopy bed, with a view - brought out the southern charm of the property. The breakfast in a pretty English setup was my favorite. Thank you for serving us with delicious breakfast . We would love to revisit the next time we are in Galena!! "

"Lovely hosts and delicious breakfast. Room was comfortable and clean, but entirely average. Entire property could use sprucing up. Tea and hot coco and snacks available throughout our stay. Convenient to town. nd snacks available through "
