"The traditional Japanese hotel is so spacious that it surprises us the minute we walked in. It has a full living area, a bedroom and a long patio that provides excellent view to the back yard. It has a private indoor hot spring tub and a private outdoor onsen. The back yard lead to hotel garden area which has all kinds of beautiful flowers and plan. Mountain is just next to the backyard. The ambience was excellent. A simple traditional Japanese breakfast was provided for free a request."
"This was the first ever hotel that I’ve stayed at while in Japan, that I didn’t hear a single car during my stay. The location was a stone throw from the ocean and surrounded by the local vegetation. When I visit the island again I’m definitely staying there a second time."
"Not a very flash or modern place but has everything you need in a convenient location. Close to some good restaurants and a grocery store. The guy who runs it is friendly and offers free drop off/pick up from the airport. The hotel has lots of character, an old and rustic kind of feel. Much like a lot of the island. Overall I was pretty happy with the stay."
"We absolutely loved Mizumari. Taiyo and his staff went above and beyond for us, and all of Mizumari was beautiful. It was our favorite stay in Japan!"
"The facilities are OK, but we felt it was too expensive for the cost of lodging without breakfast. We also felt that the staffs were not kind and friendly compared with the other Japanese inns or hotels we used. In addition, thee places for dinner or breakfast were scares near the hotel. "

"Lovely staff, good breakfast. Pool wasn’t open the beginning of July as we hoped but we could still enjoy the pool deck and the beach and ocean were close by and refreshing to swim in."
"Very kind staff and clean rooms. I had booked a private bath as my father had a prominent tattoo but the reception was able to provide tattoo covers, which was very kind of them. The surrounding town tends to have quite a bit of cars, and there isn't always a clear sidewalk so potential visitors please keep that in mind. It is about a 10minute walk from Ito Station. Lovely overall, would love to return."
