The hotel itself is very beautiful. A lot of Onsen options inside the hotel. The service is great. Will stay there again.

Everything was beautiful! The Koi pond was one of the biggest highlights. The staff was incredibly helpful, even to English speaking visitors. The area was beautiful and quaint. This was a wonderful way to wind down after 10 days of nonstop walking and traveling across Japan!
It was amazing Ryokan, and the service was great. We did not have dinner at the ryokan but breakfast was awesome vegetable/soy main Japanese breakfast, and I loved it.
Exceeded our expectations, true Japanese living experience, to dress up yukata everyday, with 5 in-house onsen to choose including private room ensuite onsen bath, served with delicious and well presented multiple course traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner (Kaiseki), very thankful and lucky we have our server name Juri was so kind, knowledgeable and excellent in explaining describing Japanese foods and very attentive to our needs
Beautiful ryokan with delicious food, plenty of drink options, 4 baths, and very friendly staff. Loved every bit of our stay. Be warned that the staff speak limited English, so some Japanese may ne necessary or prepare to use translator.
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful hotel and it was the best decision to stay 2 nights since there are 5 to 6 onsen places here! And the staff Junna and Ishihara are lovely and attentive to our needs, hotel breakfast and dinner are all tasty and you can enjoy in the room with a great view(the room Hara is recommended), we also borrowed auto-bike from the hotel with a fair price (2 for 500 yen/hour) exploring this small quiet place with bike is a must!

Very traditional experience to say the least. I really liked the food. The staff is super nice. Bring your dictionary.
Very wonderful Ryokan with their own onsen on site. The different onsen have hours segregated for male and female guests. Room comes with half board, serving traditional Japanese fare. Dinner was 10 course meal, breakfast very substantial as well. Friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful Location right on the river.
Such a wonderful 150 year old Ryokan. Peaceful and relaxing. Staff is excellent!! Just be aware the bedding is all Japanese style - futon on a platform. I found it to be comfortable though. Room was large, with a terrace overlooking the river.
Featuring two open air and two indoor shared onsens/baths (separate genders), plus two family/private baths, a nearby hotspring holding 61C sources this Ryokan’s onsens. Our halfboard bookings included a lovely 9 course Kaiteki dinner and an extensive classic Japanese breakfast, served by our friendly personal hostess who took care of us throughout our stay. Our rooms were clean and cool, facing the river. Each room has a shower, rest room and a charming barrel bath tub. The area around the Ryokan is quiet and very charming, with well lit walk paths and little shops. We loved our stay with our three children - although - the meals are not particularly suitable for small children unaccustomed to the Japanese cuisine. Perfect for adults or older children though.
