"The resort is quite new and everything is in great shape. Having a private plunge pool is very nice. I love the high ceiling in the room and decor is lovely. Beds were comfortable and linens good quality. Ordering dinner - had to order in advance (1 hour minimum) but food was great and service was also excellent. Massage - there is only one room with two tables so my friend and I were in the same room and only about a foot apart. The massage was just okay. Road to get in is very narrow and curvy and bumpy at some points but worth it. It's in a secluded area, quiet and relaxing so need to get driven to town for alternate restaurants or shopping. I would stay here again, loved the accommodations and the view of the rice fields."

Quite simply, the best gift a man can give his woman is the Kayon Jungle Resort experience."

"The moment I arrived at Ellena Resort, the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was spectacular. I was greeted with a welcome coconut drink and was informed about the amenities. Waking up every morning to the view outside my room was breathtaking. I stayed in the largest villa with private pool. It had everything I needed and more. I ate at the restaurant “Papa Ubud” every day. Breakfast was more than filling and I enjoyed the fresh coffee and smoothies. I was able to rent a moped (which I highly recommend rather than a car) right at the hotel. The staff made me feel right at home even though I was halfway around the world. I was even able to meet the owner who was very sweet. On my last day I was invited to a once a year special ceremony in the village called “Mejarag”. After we were given a tour of the Luwak coffee plantation. I cant wait to book my next trip here. It was truly exceptional. Thank you 🙏"

"This place is beautiful. Friendly staff, delicious food. This is a luxury experience, living among elephants. This property has 24 elephants that are well taken care of; each elephant is handled with care, feed well, washed daily, and treated with dignity. From every room, you can see the elephants. Its such a treat; treat yourself to escape to paradise. "

"Other than the beauty of the villas it was the little things: 1. Front desk staff took time to research questions they didn’t immediately had an answer to. 2. Staff noticed my mosquito bites on check in so included repellant with my turn down service the next day. 3. Never had I had my feet washed as a welcome. 4. Restaurant staff new our preferences after only one meal. 5. Staff apologized to me when it was my fault I missed a class/activity. There’s more but, go experience it yourself. "
