"My room had bed bugs. I was switched to a different one and was told I’d be refunded for part or all of my stay and never heard back. The wifi was also really spotty from my room and wasn’t reliable at all. Seriously makes you question the amenity fee. Cannot recommend at all. "

"I have stayed in several ACE hotels, in Seattle, Portland and Palm Springs and I never really got the millennial hype. The common areas are usually great but the rooms in those places weren’t great. When friends recommended the ACE in Brooklyn I was skeptical but the photos and location seemed great. I was very pleasantly surprised! I stayed with my husband and kid and the medium room was a great size (especially for NYC!). The room was clean and comfortable with a little sofa, an awesome window and nice bathroom. The bed was also comfortable. The area is super walkable downtown Brooklyn near subway stops and it’s easy to navigate. The common areas are beautiful as well and we loved the Black Seed Bagel attached for breakfast. The hotel staff was really kind and helpful and I will definitely stay here again!"

"Clean and cozy "

"The hotel is centrally located. Lots of shops, restaurants and vendors! The room was clean but the view was not. We had a view of another building and its residents as well as a dog park. The dogs were cute but the barking was a bit annoying. The television kept blinking and the bathroom sink leaked for 3 of the five days. The tv was fixed immediately but the sink was a problem. The housekeeper was excellent! Not sure if I would stay there again."

"We got duped by the positive reviews. This property needs repair: the hot water wasn't working, the toilet seat coming off, screws in the drawers, and lack of hotel guest support. The room phone always went to voicemail and front desk was hard to find. Also the room was without a hair dryer. We contacted Hotels.com for support and hotel denied all claims. This is very disappointing that a hotel cannot accept responsibility for their shortcomings. Hotel guests beware of this property!"

"The bed and shower were amazing. Super quiet. Some items were dirty such as the remotes, hairdryer and tables but all else was great. Would stay here again. Parking was difficult and tight but Ly staff made it work. "
