"As a solo traveller I was glad to find affordable single person accommodation. However the single rooms are downstairs and there is no balcony, or view or even a proper window. It is possible to be outside but it’s a terrace walkway between buildings. I am sure the upstairs rooms are much better. Excellent breakfast tho the buffet is waiter controlled creating much comedic confusion. Breakfast is ok tho. No tea / coffee machine in room and I’d been used to that in my other rooms in Italy. AC...

"Very old style hotel (meant in a good way) with wooden shutters on windows. Home feel to it. Lemon trees orchard style outside our windows. Our room overlooked orchard. Our room DID have AC for the extra coolness appreciated on HOT days. Breakfast was okay, not abundant but okay, simple with excellent expresso coffee. Would stay again. ."

"I have traveled all over the world and this was by far the worst hotel I have ever walked into. The outside of the hotel looks nice, but the photos on the site are very deceptive to what the rooms are actually like. The place needs torn down and severely renovated. Bugs in the bedding and unclean/wet floor. It was so bad that I walked into the room set my stuff down and booked another hotel right away because there was yelling in the hallway and didn’t feel safe. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE......

"The Hotel Terme Oriente was an excellent choice for our 5 day vacation on Ischia. The location was good with accessibility to many shops and restaurants. An especially attractive feature was the thermal spa, which allowed for several relaxing experiences as well as swimming in the warm water outdoor pool. "

"The Black Market is located on the main road from the dock. There is constant noise from the traffic. The property is cluttered with antiques and collectibles. The rooms are as the photos depict. The breakfast is toast, delicious freshly made croissants and coffee. It is served to you and at 9:00 am; not sooner. "
