"Unusual small hotel that requires codes to access the hotel and room. Codes and details are provided in an email prior to arrival. Access is on an alley. Huge room had a kitchenette. A block from the murals related to the Troubles. Easy to walk into town. If driving, park on the street and be aware of parking details on the signs to avoid getting a ticket."

"We wanted to be in bogside so the abbey B&B was perfect for us. Perfect location for all the museums and sights in Derry. Close to the Centre. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff who are really knowledgeable of their area and it’s history and who gave us great recommendations."

They also provided me a map, recommended affordable tours and some great sites to visit. Central to everything, a stones throw from the Guildhall, the walls and the Tower museum as well as some amazing places for food and drinks. "We had an overnight stay last month and we definitely will be back for longer. Could not fault one thing about this hotel. The staff are so friendly, food was amazing and the atmosphere at the bar with the entertainment was brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, our room was big as well. I never do reviews but had to do one for here. Thanku x"
