The bus stops conveniently down the road and upon arrival in the lush manicured garden I was greeted by the gracious hosts and shown the property. Despite the language barrier, she was very patient with me and it was a non issue to understand each other. I chose the tatami room for a traditional experience and I am very pleased with the accommodations. I had the best sleep I’ve had in such a long time. The bathroom was very clean and I enjoyed the japanese style shower although there is an option to use the tub. Breakfast was served each day and was extraordinarily delicious. I tried many new fruits and vegetables and really enjoyed them all. This location is very unique and just a great value overall. When I return to Ishigaki with my family I would absolutely set up home base here."
