Independent Ipswich hotels

"This is a great location if you’re going to an away game at Ipswich Town Football club. The hotel is great - pretty similar to a Hampton by Hilton in format and style. It’s just over the Bobby Robson bridge so an easy walk to the ground or the town and a slightly longer walk along the tow path to the Marina area. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Food is good. I ate there for an evening meal and it was freshly cooked and tasty. On site parking so we left the car there for the match and then walked back after the game. I’d definitely stay there again (but Ipswich is a long way from the Boro for an away game) UTB!!"

"Great friendly staff, nice touch for the kids... they were given a voucher ea to to choose beteen, a cold drink, a hot choc with marshmallowsor an ice-cream from the bar. Slso free fizzy drinks, crisps and kitkats in the mini-fridge in tge room were nice touches. The only downer for the hotel as a whole was that there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom or the bar area and so the environment was fairly hot and stuffy."

"Spa - barely call it that. Spa staff were rude, unhelpful and unprofessional Bar staff was polite but slow in service. Good choice of drinks . General areas were relatively clean . Rooms were the best bit, spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable beds ."

"Was happy but one the nights (Sunday ) had a group of people in room next to me who were very loud at 1 in morning and kept having people knock on there door . Was surprised with the cameras that security didn’t do anything"

"Sadly no water glasses in the room. The room was spotless and hotel central. Unfortunately, the night staff were either sleeping or incompetent as two very loud drinks kept going down the hall and out every 10 minutes. A terrible sleep as I was awoken 6 times. "
