"The room was normal for the price. The biggest problem was the smell of cigarettes in the hallway and elevator. It felt like people were allowed to smoke in the rooms, which was not okay. It was also a bit noisy from outside, which makes me think the room was not soundproof. But other than that, the staff were kind and respectful, and I really appreciated that."

"This is a wonderful hotel with truly kind, welcoming, and helpful staff. The room was small, but served my needs well - I found it to be very good value. I initially had some WiFi issues (my phone wouldn't connect from the bed area), but solved it by using my computer as a hotspot.The free breakfast every morning was delicious and varied. "Our first time in Van was made amazing by our stay at Roccia Downtown Hotel! Booked it and didn't regret it for a second. "The staff were so kind. They immediately offered tea while we were in the lobby. They offered help and assistance with everything. Checkin was fast. They upgraded our room. Breakfast on the top floor was great. Air conditioner worked well. Only downside was it was buried deep in the shopping district so it was inconvenient driving to and from the hotel in the congested streets. Big bonus: They had a private parking lot right in front of the hotel. "

"This place is by a night club and is so noisy at night. We were not able to sleep. Also, the apartment was not clean. There was a big like wine spot on the rug in the living room, and so many burn marks on the sofa and coffee table. We reserved a non smoking room, and we found at least 3 unused cigars in the room. Also, the bathroom/ shower was not clean enough and there was a lot of hair and other items! There."
