"Great stay! They did not provide standard-sized pillows (they were small square ones) so if that’s a deal breaker for you, I would bring your own."

"The staff was very welcoming and available. We enjoyed a drink at the bar later in the evening. The bartender ensured we were happy with our drinks! The breakfast room was a long way from our room and there was a problem with the decaf coffee - a minor inconvenience. The pool was even further away but, we ended up with no extra time to swim anyway. Our rooms were comfortable and clean."

"Very peaceful and serene stay. Beautiful outdoor gardens and relaxing areas. Rooms were well supplied to include a lovely shower steamer to help you feel refreshed. The Hosts/Owners are very accommodating and prepared to meet all your needs. Definitely will be a repeat stay."

"We very much enjoyed this property and met the owners. They take pride in their property and care about their guests. They had just changed out all the bed mattresses which was quite comfortable. The location was quiet and convenient to Spencer activities. The breakfast options were better than most 2-star hotels.We will stay here again!"

"Wifi and television did not connect so we were unable to work on our computers or even watch local channels. Room was poorly lit and smelled stale. Bathroom is cramped with poor venting and extremely small shower stall. Walls are extremely thin; can hear people clearly in the hall and next door. Overall was a bed to sleep in and nothing more."

"The breakfast was nice and included. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, but the property is showing its age. The price seems high given the overall quality, but options are limited in Spencer and likely as good as you will find."
