"The room was excellent, in great condition, clean and well maintained. We really appreciated the air conditioning units in both rooms which tamed the Kefalonia summer heat. The location is a distance away (10 minutes walk) from both Argostoli and Lassi, and is a steep uphill walk back, but this means it's no problem with car parking close to the property as it's away from the tourist zones. "SOLO TRAVELERS BEWARE!
Booked a “Sea View” room months ago, I was shown to a room on a lower level with NO SEA VIEW. (See photo with tiny slice of sea circled in RED). When I politely pointed this problem out, I was informed “A larger group had booked the upper apartments, but I was welcome to sit in the garden”. I felt the hosts were dismissive, making a point that I was “Only ONE person”. Given I am not traveling in high season, I was lucky to be able to quickly book an alternative stay...

"Not worth the money – misleading description and poor experience
Unfortunately, I would not recommend Costa Azzurra, particularly considering the price we paid.
Firstly, I found the description misleading. The hotel does not provide dedicated parking, despite the impression given by the listing. You have to find a space on the street yourself, which can be difficult in Skala.
When we arrived, we repeatedly rang the buzzer and knocked, but nobody answered. We waited outside for around 30...
"This hotel was absolutely incredible. The thing that stood out to us the most was how kind, friendly and attentive the staff were. They helped us book taxis, rent a car & were more than happy to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself is quiet but not far from lots of atmosphere if that’s what you like! "Agrikia offers a real treat, especially if you’re looking for amazing views, a large pool, well maintained property and friendly team. We stayed along with 3 other families and had a blast. Our cleaner was great and owner provided us with some wonderful home grown produce. You need a car to get up and down to the house, it’s a fun drive :)"
