Facilities are very old. Heater didn’t work in our room. When we woke up it was 57 degrees. A dodge truck pulls up next to our cabin (at the office) and left his loud truck idling for an hour. No sleep.

Its unfortuneate you had this negative experience. Our property is a turn of the century motel and our cottages were built in the 1920's. We work hard to keep it clean and comfortable and we regret you had a poblem with your heater- we will be looing into it and addressing the concern. It's unfortuneate another guest had a loud truck idling near your room.

Unexpected family-friendly gem
When we booked a last minute trip for a busy long weekend, we weren’t expecting much from our accommodation. However, we were more than thoroughly impressed. From the outside it looks like many of the local motels, but inside the rooms are beautifully refurbished and exceptionally clean and comfortable. New windows and blinds, new flooring, newer beds, lovely linens, nice tv, microwave and mini fridge. The free WiFi was fast and reliable. Only little things to mention would be that in our room was the bathroom mirror finish had several large dark patches, and the outdoor lights were maybe a little bright as the room was never pitch-black-dark. But those are very minor things that didn’t hinder our enjoyment of the space. We were warmly greeted with great service (and cookies!) A coffee room is ready for guests by 8am each morning, along with some small sweet treats. We even saw some gluten free options. We hastily ventured out the first morning, leaving stuffed toys and blankets a mess, and unexpectedly returned to to beautifully made beds and fresh towels. Daily housekeeping was a wonderful surprise. Any staff we passed greeted us with a smile, asked if we needed anything and wished us a great day. Bonus: All of the play equipment and outdoor toys for kids. The pool was closed for the season. However, we can imagine that, given the pride they take in maintaining the property, it would be a well maintained pool. We would absolutely to stay here again.

Relaxing stay with real child focus
Feels like there is a genuine effort to make the facility inviting to families. Buildings show their age but appear to have been recent updates. Kids loved all the playsets provided and the pool was nicely heated allowing the swim longer. Only real drawback was our bathroom door latch didn't catch when closed.

Can't wait to stay again!
I booked this hotel with a lot of apprehension as I have never stayed here before. What a hidden gem! It has a camping vibe with the benefits of a hotel! The pool was amazing and heated, the hotel room was immaculate and the beds and bedding was amazingly comfortable. I had trouble getting my toddler to leave to go to story land as the playgrounds were so great and engaging to her. She literally cried everytime we left the grounds. The owners were amazingly accommodating and allowed us to use their fire pit as well. Overall? It was an amazing stay and we are planning on coming back for longer next year. It was a great price and everything I wanted and more for a stay in the mountains. I literally felt like I was camping with the incredible convenience of a very comfortable hotel room.

Perry's Motel is great for families. We travel from out of state with two small children. The playground and the swimming pool keep them both busy. The rooms are the best value that you can find for the area. Perry's is an easy 5 minute drive from Storyland and about a 10 minite drive from shopping in North Conway. The owners are super friendly and keep the property in good condition with clean rooms. We will definitely be back to Perry's soon!

We used the motel for a one night stay before visiting a few white mountains attractions. As we arrived late (after 8pm), we called and left a message. They responded and left instructions on check in procedures. The motel was easy to find, as well as our room. The room was clean, and there were toiletries, which we did not use. There is a pool and playground, which we did not use either, as we left early. Fairly inexpensive.

What a wonderful, cute, clean property in an amazing location. I loved it here! Pool was clean and playground area for kids was perfect for kids. I was super impressed by the interior of the room I stayed in. It appeared completely renovated with new bedding, bathroom remodel and new TV, microwave and mini fridge. Also, super clean. Highly recommend!

There are some good things and some bad things about Perry’s Motel and Cottages. Good: The check in process was quick and we were quickly in our room. Our room was well off the highway and there was little traffic noise. The best part of our stay was the good coffee, doughnuts, and cookies available all the time. The beds were comfortable with pillows that were not paper thin like in some well-know motels/hotels. The owners were very friendly and they were very helpful in making a repair when I had trouble regulating the hot water in the shower. Bad: The walls in the room were very thin. We could hear our neighbors on both sides talking and even going to the bathroom one time. There was not enough lamps to provide good lighting. That is par for almost every motel/hotel room we have ever stayed in. The one chair in the room was in a dark corner with a couple of lamps across the room. If we wanted to read we had to sit on the beds. The carpet was stained and the gray color made the carpet look as if it had not been cleaned in a while. I could not detect any heat from the register in the bathroom. The door was locked and unlocked by using an old fashion key in a key hole. That is not very secure and could be more easily picked than the more modern electronic locks. The door could be better secured from the inside by a chain.

The cottage was quaint but needs updating. The electrical plugs were very loose and concerning. I asked for someone to clean the room on the second day and they told me to leave the trash and towels outside. Never cleaned the 3 days we were there. I would not stay there again honestly. It was a late booking, next year I’ll plan sooner and get a much nicer, cleaner place for the same price .

We're dissappointed you did not enjoy your stay. Due to staffing issues and Covid protocols, we do not enter the rooms for stayover service, however we do make every effort to provide clean towels and trash removal so our guests are more comfortable. This is common policy in many hotels/motels these days. Best of luck in the future!
