I was there for an event and this was a convenient location. The room was clean and bed comfortable. There was coffee and tea at the lobby available all the time. The manager was very helpful and friendly.

Air conditioner did not work, steep stairs, TV remote didn't work, sink faucet leaked. Heather, desk clerk was good and beyond helpful. She brought us fan to help with hot room.

After our float plane was delayed by weather, I booked 2 of the last rooms available in the entire area on Orbitz. We arrived to find the rooms were sold and the property booked. Last minute fishing cancellations and people traveling north for their weekend or week in Canada booked things solid. The excellent onsite manager worked some magic and got my party of 6, 3 beds to sleep in! That’s service you don’t find anymore!

Comfy bed. Extremely clean room. Room didn't smell bad, didn't smell old and didn't smell like cleaning fluids. The bed was very clean, including the headboard. Sheets super white and super clean. Three pillows on the double bed, one pillow was awesome. So soft. The other two were more firm and also nice. The bathroom was super clean, toilet and sink were extra clean. Everything worked perfectly. I used to clean rooms in hotels and I was checking out everything, I couldn't even find any dust anywhere. The only thing I would suggest is a hook or two somewhere to hang a robe or towel, etc. The front desk woman was very friendly and nice. Cute, vintage hotel.

Super simple room to stay a night on our way to northern Ontario to fish. Quiet area. Not for spouses with higher expectations. Inexpensive and checks the boxes for a simple place to stay.

Totally disgusted!

Went to check in after driving for 14 hours…they said they didn’t have a room for the 3 of us and that someone was supposed to check out that day but they decided to stay. They offered us a room with a cot…I asked if they had my reservation and they said yes….i was furious..room was not clean…no towels or bedding…since nothing else was available I stayed….never again!

The motel is old and the room air conditioner did not keep the room cool. I had to ask for soap and a glass for water. Very dingy and dark. I only needed one night so it was good enough for that.

The internet was down, so no credit card charges and they don't except cash. The room was extremely small and had only 1 hand towel for 4 people.

This hotel is very very dated, old beds, old bed spreads, stained sheets. At check in, the person said they didn’t have towels or soaps (only hand lotions) He eventually gave us some flimsy clean towels. We paid $85 for the night, which I think is overpriced for what were provided.
