Nice view from room. Very clean. Very convenient because property has elevator. Friendly staff. Has locker to temporarily keep luggages in the laudry area.

Very convenient location, but ceilings were very thin and floors very squeaky. Pillow also very flat, almost Non-existent

I really like the location of this property. The bathroom was not so clean though (mold on the walls).

The room was clean, and overlooking the canal, which was lovely. Room was a little small, but quaint and very clean, so no complaints overall. Lovely little place.

the property is clean and in a good location. the wifi signal is quiet weak and unstable in my room, hope this can be improved in the future. other than that, the property is nice to stay.

We stayed 2 nights as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers). Pros: great location, clean, friendly staff and great breakfast. Rooftop terrace is lovely with excellent views of the hang gliders. Very convenient to have laundry facilities on site. Cons: well, it's a hostel...rooms are very basic. Family room 14 was exceptionally noisy because it sits above the main floor lounge/bar area, and beneath the bathrooms above it. Walls are thin and we could hear other guests stomping around all night long. Beds are also squeaky (esp the bunkbed), and pillows are flat and lumpy. Overall felt overpriced and not a great value for money. Probably not somewhere we'd stay again as a family but I'm sure it's a good hostel for travelers who are seeking that type of accommodation.

Room 12 is lovely and simply decorated with a private balcony and washroom. We also enjoyed using the kitchen facilities to cook dinner. We paid for the breakfast to be included in our stay and felt the buffet was very worth it!

Nice location by river.

Very good location. You can find signpost easily from Interlaken center. There are 2 receptions at property, one for Hotel Bellavue and one for Alplodge. Bed was ready with clean bed Lenin when you arrive, also there is good size luggage locker (without lock). Nice shared kitchen with plenty of seating. On down side, room is small for 6 people and bunk beds are very squeaky. Less toilets mean you've to queue at times.

The walls and windows are super thin, so you can hear everything (traffic noise outside, your neighbor blow drying their hair at midnight). The bed was super uncomfortable (you can feel the springs in the mattress). I would not recommend this hotel.

Very easy check in. You receive a local transit card and discount activity vouchers which always helps the trip. Rooms are small but well designed with everything you need. Breakfast was a huge perk, great offering. Rooftop communal space was a nice plus and had a great view. Most rooms dont have AC but it was cool enough when we visited that it wasnt necessary.

My first impression about this hotel is the cleanness, felt like the staffs clean every hour. Eventhough we shared bathroom but very clean. there is no AC but if you open window, it is cool and nature. The view is magnigicent. On 4th floor has everything you need for cooking. Overall, I enjoyed my time in Interlaken

The building is a bit old but the double room is quite large. There is a small table, 2 arm chairs and a large wardrobe. However, the bathroom is quite inconvenient to use. There is no space to hang cloths or toiletries, and the sink is an old-style one which located outside the bathroom and the hot/cold water taps are separated. Nevertheless, everything is clean. As a hostel the kitchen and the common room are very nice. There is also a balcony with a nice view of the stream.

Our double rooms are all individually designed, have different wallpapers and are not identical in shape and size. This means that in some rooms the bathroom is a bit smaller, but in other rooms it is a bit bigger (also with a sink in the bathroom). You may have received a larger double room, but the bathroom was relatively small. In any case, it seems like you had a great stay with us, and we are very happy about that! Stunning view, great stay overall

We had a great stay. The guy who checked us in was friendly and the view from our room was incredible. For the price we would absolutely book this place again. However, the hotel was a lot older than we were expecting and the staircase is extremely loud. The walls are thin so you can really hear every time someone walks up and down the stairs to go to the bathroom etc. Also, the shared bathrooms are individual bathrooms that you can lock but they aren’t specified for men or women so I was a little uncomfortable using a toilet and shower that guys were also using. It was all kept clean though and really we were very happy with our stay. We even were able to use a free street parking spot right out front during the night. And the location of the hotel on the Aare River is absolutely stunning and made for an unforgettable stay.

Check in was seamless and quick. We had a private double room and bathroom which was spotless and adequate for 2 people. We had a good nights sleep. The kitchen / lounge area was spacious with an excellent view. We went to the coop round the corner and bought our breakfast and wine for the evening. Lovely little take away pizza shop across the road where we bought our dinner. The kitchen spotless and was equipped with everything you need. Free baggage storage. Never stopped in a hostel before and this was great value for money.

Resourceful hotel with beautiful surroundings

Alplodge is a modern youth hostel with different types of room, it is very close to the Interlaken west station about 400m Walk. we took a room which was compact but with thr shower and toilets shared. The hotel has a very beautiful surroundings with loads of shopping and dining spots. The best part for us travelling on a budgetbwas the shared kitchen and terrace space, you can cook your own food and enjoy the view of the alps from the 4th floor terrace.

Easy for families to stay

A beautiful relaxing setting. Great staff, totally easy with 3 kids and the lodge facilities, plus a glorious fondue on offer to hotel guests only (covid restrictions).
