"Die englische Provinz ist herrlich grün, Golfhotels bieten normalerweise etwas mehr Komfort und Platz. Deshalb habe ich für meine Frau extra eine Suite gebucht – was man uns zunächst gab, war allerdings eine Frechheit: ein dunkles Loch mit Blick auf eine Ziegelwand. Warum versucht man eigentlich immer wieder, Ausländern die schlechtesten Zimmer zuzuschieben? Nach längerer Diskussion bekamen wir immerhin eine helle und geräumige Suite, inklusive Entschuldigung. "We came for a family night away to celebrate a birthday and we really found the hotel to be relaxed and friendly from the minute we got there. Our room was clean and within minutes of checking in staff came in with a basket and bowls for our dog. We had a few drinks in the bar area that evening which was busy due to football but a great atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely and the choice was great. We used the gym and spa and found the staff in the golf shop all to be extremely friendly...
