They snuck a plate of treats into our room for a suprise when we returned, and we felt very taken care of the entire stay! The valet service was also extremely kind, they even helped us with a deflated tire before we left! "A great hotel, but I have to say that $64 a night for valet (There appears to be no self park) and the "Resort Fee" at hotel that is not and does not offer "Resort" level amenities is over the top. The resort fee is clearly because Denver/CO allows them to do it, so the hotel takes advantage of the opportunity to nickel and dime you for an extra $30 and change a night or offer you a price that is $30 a night less and then get you in the fine print. "Loved the balcony/patio. Staff was friendly. Would have been five stars, however, they slapped a surprise $100 on my credit card. They explained this was some kind of fee that is paid outside of Expedia. I had no problem with that, it would’ve just been nice to know and not find out by surprise when reviewing my credit card statement. I was told I should have been informed at check-in, however, I was not. I put my credit card down for incidentals, and there was no mention of any additional fees...

"Loved the Hilton Gardens Union Station in every way possible. Short walk to Rockies Stadium, Union Station, Lo-Do and other Denver attractions which you can see from the free downtown shuttle. The front desk staff member, Jolie, was so helpful and friendly. The attached restaurant, Woodie Fisher, is a landmark Denver fire house built in 1881, and the food for breakfast and dinner were “mile high” out of this world, and my server, Maven, was also helpful on what to do in Denver, provided...
