Kid Friendly Hotels in Independence

"I stayed in this hotel twice in one week, once on my drive West to Colorado and then again on my way back to Tennessee. I like this hotel a lot and wish all of the hotels I stayed in as I drive all over the country exploring during retirement, were like this. The hotel staff is wonderful and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean, looks like it was recently remodeled, and the room and bed is wonderful. It’s obvious the owner or manager takes great care of the property. And to top it off,...

"This was your basic budget motel. The room was clean ish, most of the amenities of the room worked and there was parking right in front of the door. On the down side there was a door still as is but painted closed to what was once adjoining rooms and we could hear everything in the room next to us from clear conversations to the tv and even a fart. That made it a less than comfortable or restful stay. Classic you get what you pay for with this place."
