"Stay away from this property. It is not worth Expedia exposure property. I booked it for my sisters as it’s closer to San Juan Beach. It is a house turned lodging/dorm style. Not very upfront on additional fees on their listing. Terrible place for a stay. Might be okay for backpackers. 1. "Stayed for one night with family and one year old baby , the place is clean nice and quiet , staff are nice but there’s no hair dryer and baby crib "

"It’s nice for family trip"

"The only good about this hotel is the location coz it's at the beach front. Everything else is not worth staying. Commonal bathroom and shower that ate very small, the room is literally just a cubicle with no other amenities except aircon and with the price of almost $100 per night, you'll get a far better experience at Hilton!!!!"

"Owner was very accomodating, has good wifi, has cooked food, and store also has beer liquor etc. The room toilet got clogged up but good thing there was a toilet room outside. The aircon was old and dripped during the wee hours of the morning."

"We felt very welcome here. At arrival we were offered a nice cup of cofee and a good talk. Fine clean room with good beds. Nice sitting room with open fireplace. We ordered breakfast next morning and it was very good. Only thing we did not like was that the room was rather cold in the evening and night. "

"Griffin Lodge is a SCAM!! We had a confirmed booking on this place for February 25-27, 2022, also paid online and that it is no refund for any cancellations or rebooking. When we arrived, the whole place was barricaded with bamboo fencing. There were bystanders outside dilly dallying which looks weird and told us that there is nobody inside and that the place has been non-operational for more than two years.
