The views from this place were majestic. If it's not raining they serve food in a table outside overlooking the rices terraces and mountains and also the food is really good.
The experience of sleeping in a hut was just amazing and so peaceful.
The bathroom is shared but they always clean it after every use.
Last but not least the staff is really nice and accommodating.
I would totally recommend this place to any nature lover that knows where they are staying. This is not a resort and cannot be if you want to have the true experience.
The only downside of being in the middle of nature is that transportation would cost a little more but they will help you with that. Also I wouldn't change staying there for Banaue downtown.
We had a great 2 nights there, the 3 musketeers (staff) were friendly, helpful and very good company. The food was very fresh and tasty.
If you are looking for a tour guide we would highly recommend Kim Dumulag, who was good company, knowledgeable and passionate about his people.
A very different place to stay with superb views and ultra-friendly service from owners and staff alike.
Where I have given less than top ratings it is only in recognition of the reality; the accommodation is not in a purpose built modern structure, it is actually in native thatched huts where every effort is made to retain authenticity - so it's simply not possible to achieve five star comforts. That said, every effort is made to maintain comfort and cleanliness.
the Huts are special! Don't forget something warm to wear, also the nights can get chilly.
Very nice owner, top friendly stuff, good food.
The location is not from this world... :-)
Absolutely stunning!
We wish we could stay longer. Monina and her staff were friendly and accommodating. The place took me back to an earlier time, visiting the provinces, smelling the fresh air, and eating fresh food. We enjoyed the view of the cordillera mountains and mini rice terraces from their lookout. We even got to see fireflies the night of our stay. It was one of those places where a guest can pick up a guitar and sing; one did. I am taking my kids back to experience this.

This is THE place to stay. Peaceful and beautiful views. Unique and comfortable lodgings and everything is so clean and spotless. The staff are so kind and helpful and the dining lodge with fireplace was the perfect place to relax.
Exceptional views, exceptional staff. The place is spotless and the food is great (especially the home-made curry). It does get quite chilly at night so prepare for that - but the location more than made up for that.
I left the best to last. My final stop on a 3 week tour to Luzon was at the Native Village Inn in Banaue. By far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip. Very helpful owner and super friendly staff. Views to die for and a restaurant with ‘real’ bread. What more could you ask for. I wish I had discovered this place early, would have stayed for a week. Highly recommended
This is one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. Very remote and quiet. Graham, mamma and the staff are perfect. The place is rustic and very rural and yet the toilets, huts and restaurant are 5* considering their position.
Stayed 1 night at Native Village Inn in Banaue on our way to Batad. I was worried initially about the shared bathroom but I was happily surprised of how clean it was. There’s a disignated girl that’s always cleaning the bathrooms. We were happy with our stay and definitely would be back again.
