"This has been one of my favorite hotels EVER. I'd rank it top 2, my only regret is I wish I spent 2 nights instead of one. Very quaint and right at the start of Stillwater. You can walk towards the river with the bridge leading you to Wisconsin or walk right down Main Street. Staff were very nice and helpful at the front desk, attached restaurant + bar and even the little coffee shop next door. Plus, the rooms are charming and very clean and spacious. "This establishment is situated in an old restored home. It still has the original wooden floors, doors and fixtures. Internet access was very simple and worked perfectly. Location of this house is within walking distance of Main Street, home to many restaurants and antique shops. A walkable linear path over the lift bridge.
Very good customer service. We experienced a power outage which lasted 5 hours. We received a partial refund. Even though it did not affect us, a tree was blown...

"Peter at the front desk has to be the most delightful and helpful person we have had the pleasure of dealing with at any hotel we have ever stayed.
