"Overall a decent hotel for the money. The room, while tiny was adequate for my needs and the bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast was included for free, but there wasn't much to choose from although at this price point it's better than absolutely nothing.
There's a FamilyMart just across the street which is very convenient. The ferry terminal is only a 10 minute walk away as is most of the restaurants and izakayas. The staff were very polite and friendly.

"My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again! "

There is a beach and the angel pier in the nearby resort - it's good that the property can leverage on that too. Our room is comfortable, with microwave oven and quite a big fridge. "Have been in Ishigaki for 6 times, Miyahira Hotel did surprise me on the location, amenities and room condition. I stayed at the new building with balcony, which works perfectly well for divers - to dry our gear. Location is quiet and just stone throw to bus terminals for airport transfer.
Breakfast is the top in town, from variety and quality perspectives. You can enjoy Blue Seal ice-cream there. They also offer free coffee everyday until 5pm with paper cups to facilitate take away.
