"I was a single traveller and was placed into a family room with 2 bedrooms which I didn't need. I had booked through Expedia but didn't realise there was another 3rd party that was involved. After getting through the initial booking mix up the room they assigned me wasnt ready at 2pm and reception, who weren't aware of room availability said after I had ventured down to my room 700 meters away that I would need to wait for it to be available. I asked if I could get a voucher for a drink or...

"After a 6 hour journey we arrived at the Capital Zimbali but main reception staff denied knowing about the apartment. We discovered the apartment is let by a private host and the hotel are fully aware of this. The reception could not have been any more unhelpful. A security guard kindly escorted us to the Welcome Centre, where a gentleman telephoned the main hotel and patiently explained that we were trying to book into the suite. By now, it had been almost 2 hours since we arrived at the...

"The place was nice and clean, but the problem was communication. We reached out to the Agent of the place regarding a WiFi and how to connect the tv as it is an old Sinotec smart tv, we only got the password from the lady and she ignored communications on how to connect the tv. She also ignored communication of where should we get the keys to the pool from. I even sent messages on the Hotels.com website to the property and nobody responded. "
