"My only complaint is I wish we could have stayed longer! The views from our balcony were breathtaking. The place was just a 10 minute walk from the ferry and a quick walk to the beach, back into town for food, etc. Would definitely recommend. "

"Great location and a great hotel. We took the ferry over from Split. It was literally a three minute walk to the hotel. check in was easy with a friendly staff, breakfast was full of options and plentiful, restaurants were everywhere. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Oh, and they gave us an upgraded room with a beautiful view. I 100% recommend!"

"Amazing Stay at Porta Maestra – Perfect for a Group Trip Porta Maestra is a beautiful apartment-style accommodation that was perfect for our guys' trip. We were three 30-year-old men and stayed in Apartment 3, located on the top floor. "This place is beyond worth the hike. Such an incredible view from the balcony! Room was small but clean and comfortable. A/C worked great which is crucial when visiting end of July. The owners were a pleasure to work with, so kind and helpful! Loads of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Highly recommend to anyone interested in staying in Hvar."

"Excellent hotel. In a lively historic harbor with beautiful sailing yachts coming and going. No shortage of restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. Breakfast at the hotel was very generous and the family owners are extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was recently restored/renovated. Will recommend to others. "

"Spectacular Sea view"

"The apartment has a great view of the marina and the main square of town. Bed was comfortable and the staff was more than helpful. The only negative was that the Wifi was not very strong. Don't know if this was a temp issue but was not big enough to ask about. You will surely love this unit. When we return, we will seek this apartment out again!"

"The balcony view is just amazing. It's located not far for the city center (BUT it is a good climb up). Which means that on a sunny day it's a killer! But then you see that amazing sunset view and forget all about again. "

"Apartment is small and quite dark as its on the ground floor, but this meant it was cool even on very hot days. It's really well equipped with everything we needed. The only slight issue we found was the bells from the clock tower 50yards away, they start at 6am and stop at 10pm. Didn't cause us issues as we wake up early but not great for those who want a lie in. Location is perfect just a few mins walk to the small back streets with great restaurants and close to the harbour."
