"Wonderful & cozy stay! Everything was clean, neat & host was generous to provide a good variety of food for breakfast. Those staying second floor there’s slight steep stairs thus lesser luggages would be good. Location was easy to find with Google Maps. Overall a pleasant stay. Thank you!"

"The rooms were very well clean well heated and very cozy. The mountain view and parking was appreciated. It was nice to park right next to the camping pods. It was nice to be able to see the northern lights from the property. "

"This cottage was off by itself. Gave us a great view of the northern lights our first night there. We were a little surprised that there was no oven but we made do with the stove top and microwave. It was a nice stay and we would stay there again. We did not have any experiences with the restaurant. The troll garden was pretty cool. And the views were outstanding. "Beautiful view from the rooms on the hvalfjörður side, the dinning room and lounge area were outstanding. The staff were very helpful and attentive, we very much appreciated their attention to us as tired travelers on our first night in Iceland. The hotel manager was extremely approachable, friendly, he answered all of our questions, and gave us great information for the next few days of our adventure. The property is under new ownership as of early 2026 and they are making visible...
