Good customer service. Room was clean. Came in with five kids and had no problem finding everything I needed. They were all happy with breakfast. I'll be returning to this hotel on my yearly drive down south.
Met up with my husband who is working in Athens, AL for a Valentine Werkend. Home 2Suites make you feel like “ you’re at home”. The facility is very well maintained-smells fresh! Great location for food, shopping, connecting to Hwy-72 and Hwy -65. We had a one bedroom suite-had everything we needed!
This was my first stay at a Home2 Suites. I was amazed by the size of the room. The lobby was large too. This property is less than a year old. There were a few customer service issues. The young woman at the front desk who checked us in was efficient but not overly welcoming or friendly. The coffee urn in the lobby was out of regular coffee before the breakfast bar opened. If demand is that high early in the morning, I recommend putting out two urns of regular coffee at least on the weekends. Also the refillable shampoo bottle was out in the shower. I was glad I had my own with me. This is a perennial issue at hotels, but more luggage carts for guests would be helpful too.
Fairly new property. Nice, big, clean rooms. Other than a toilet that refilled every two minutes(we just turned the water supply off) it was a great stay.
Clean and new with a great breakfast. Due, I believe to our late reservation, we were in a Handicapped Room. However it seemed strange that the room is the farthest from the elevator!

Nice stay.
Nice place, huge rooms. Floors and walls are paper thin. Got a noise complaint from walking this morning.
Beautiful. New. Clean. Spacious. Good ameneties.
I dont know if it’s solely due to lack of hvac white noise, or partly lack of insulation… but hard to sleep when you hear other people’s alarm clocks, toilet flushings, and door closings.
The room was very large and well thought out. The hotel was clean and staff very helpful. I dropped it a bit because the noise insulation is poor. We heard lots of noise from people walking above us and the hallway and rooms next to us. Most hotels in this price point will do much better on noise insulation... that part felt like an economy hotel!
This is a new property as I'm writing this review on 11/19/24. So everything was clean and perfect. Overall we were very happy with our experience with one small exception. The breakfast options weren't great for those of us who eat a low carb diet. Normally these hotels feature bacon or sausage and eggs as options for breakfast. On this day, they only had pre-made breakfast sandwiches in little bags, to go along with the usual waffle and cereal types of options. We were able to disassemble a few of those to get by, so not a huge inconvenience. Other than that, the staff was wonderful, and everything else was top notch.
Toilet didn't work. No maintenance staff to fix it and the hotel couldn't figure out how to get us into another room. The hotel was clean when we checked in late on Christmas Eve. We were checking out the next day and realized the toilet didn't work. There was plenty of availability in the hotel but, the either untrained or unmotivated front desk person could not find a way to get us into the room right next to ours that was vacant. So we were forced to use their public restroom on the first floor. I have switched to Marriott over the last few years because the service always seems to be so much better than Hilton these days. I typically like a Home2 Suites because they are new but they aren't good enough to overcome poor service.
