"The hotel is very close to the airport. It is about 5 min by shuttle bus. You can even walk to it from the airport. The property is majestic and offers one of the best value for money I have experienced. The standard room looks like an expensive suite. It rises the bar so high that when you get to any country of the EU you feel disappointed at your european accommodation and prices."

Host Andrew and his wife were phenomenal in their hospitality. Super responsive from the moment the booking was made. We had originally booked a two-bedded room for three travellers (2 men & woman) and upon Andrew realising the make up of our group, he allowed us to have an additional room so everyone could sleep in their own bed, without charging us any extra cost. Andrew went above and beyond in his attempts to provide us with an authentic Chinese experience, personally recommending a lunch stop at a local Chinese restaurant neathe Mutianyu area following our Great Wall hike earlier that morning. He was very generous with his time, driving to the Beijing Capital Airport to pick us up despite our flight being delayed over 30 minutes and again to return us to the Beijing City Centre at the end of our stay (charging a competitive minimal fare relative to other rideshare options operating at that time). The homestay itself had all adequate facilities including wifi and was a short drive from the starting point of the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, with Andrew providing complimentary car drop-off and pick-up service. Complimentary breakfast provided (and for those lucky enough, you may even be greeted by Andrew’s cute pets, a cat, kittens and a dog)."
