Huge rooms, comfortable beds

The rooms are huge! We were in a king room and the bed was amazing. I almost didn’t want to get up. The rooms were fairly clean. You have to request for housekeeping, they don’t automatically come into your room and change the towels and take out the trash.

I understand renovations are going on but I was in town for a surgery. The room I booked was not available so they put me on the first floor where the whole bottom floors toilets wouldn’t flush. Yes we checked out. And I want a refund that’s disgusting!

This place has really gone down hill.

We've stayed here several times over the past 10 years. This was the last. It's in desperate need of renovations. The room smelled moldy. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. The bathroom wasn't clean. The carpet was sticky. The TV had 1 channel and the volume would go up and down. There were people loitering in the lobby. Really just terrible place. Won't be back

Everything was great but make sure anyone who needs to get in touch with you knows your room number in case of an emergency. The police ended up being called for a welfare check because my phone was broken and the hotel receptionist wouldn’t send my spouse’s call through to my room due to lack of knowing room number. It didn’t matter that my spouse had my Expedia itinerary number either. Other than that everything was fine.

Smoke

The staff was very helpful. The only thing I had a problem with is there was someone smoking and I did complain but the front desk said it was because people go outside to smoke and when they return they smell like smoke. Well the elevator didn’t smell like smoke only in the hall at certain doors. It was a very strong smell.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is pretty average. Not a lot of extra amenities, but it was clean and not in disrepair. It is very close to a local hospital, but more so in an industrial area with not a lot of options for dining and entertainment. There are buses that can take you to the areas of town that have more options, but the hours are limited, so it is not an ideal place to stay if you do not have your own transportation, or if you are wanting to use public transportation to get around town in the evening hours. Overall, not a bad option if you are have your own transportation and are looking to stay in a quiet area of town.
