Our room was clean, but we only had one towel the first night. Housekeeping quickly brought more towels the next morning. Our room could have used a chair, maybe remove one of the nightstands. We also could not get our fireplace to work. Convenient 1/2 mile walk to Oaklawn.

The room was small but clean and had very poor amenities. Over $700 for (2) nights was outrageous and comparable with a motel six at the best. There wasn't a front desk for information. Everything you needed you had to request on-line. I was in a hurry threw some clothes out of the washer thinking I could iron once in the hotel . No iron or ironing board inside the room. The tv was like a puzzle and had to buy shows to watch. No iron or ironing board. No closet for your clothes and cabinet space to hold your personal belongings like toothpaste, deodorant and etc. False advertisement like its a luxury hotel and just a remodeled Motel. I had hell trying to get receipt on what I paid so I could split with my roommate. I was so embarrassed because I told my date that it was a really nice place to stay and it was like a remodeled Motel Six at best. It was clean was the only positive thing I could say. Cheap on soap and not enough towels. Over $700 for one king size room for 2 nights was outrageously expensive. I was so disappointed. When I see the price and pictures, I thought it would be a luxury hotel. No pool and you couldn't access the vending machines for ice or laundry because the door code was screwed up. I called but no one ever came to fix it. I will never stay at such an overrated place like this again. Price gouging at the finest. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone especially carrying a date. I was so embarrassed.
