The lady that checked me in was very sweet and helpful. Lobby was clean. There was a small countertop icemaker in the lobby and that was ice for all the rooms. I got lucky and was able to fill my cup twice w/ice w/o running out of ice. This motel is behind Rally's, Waffle House, Subway and an Arby's. So was easy to walk across the parking lot to Arby's for supper. Went to Subway for a cookie for dessert. Tried to get a cup of ice at Subway and the man charged me $2.56, just for the ice! No Thanks! That's ridiculous! The area of the motel seemed fine and I felt safe. Parked right outside my room. The room was clean. It was rough looking on details. The thick rubber tall trim around the walls and the corners was barely hanging on. Trim work around spindles on the half wall were missing. The microwave and frig were clean and worked. TV was very small, but worked well. There was no in-room coffee maker. They had a regular household coffee maker in the lobby on the counter, by the countertop ice maker. LOL. I was only there the one night, just a quick stop over to go to the Trail of Tears Pow Wow, 1.5 miles away. Bed slept good. I would probably stop over again for a one nighter, as the price was cheap.

Still my #1 go to in Hoptown.

This place is still my #1 go to when I need a place to stay. They are always working to improve the condition of things in and around the building as well as the customer experience. I'm comfortable & feel safe every stay and when an issue does come up with a room or whatever the staff always take immediate action and finds a solution to the issue whatever it may be. .

Place feels like home

The owner takes the time to have repairs done as they are needed, & is working on updating the place.The staff is respectful I feel safe & can settle inn and be comfortable like I'm at home when I'm at the Rodeway Inn in Hopkinsville Kentucky.
