We stayed at this property before and after cruising on the Pride of America NCL Ship. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, check-in was quick, luggage hold and parking were a great amenity to this property. The Aloha Cafe is a great place to chill and have a light breakfast (or a beer lol). Walkable distance to LOTS of shopping and restaurants, felt safe!

Great area for dining & shopping! Our room however was on the 3rd floor! Balcony was basically useless as we looked out at the noisy air conditioning units. Very disappointed considering the cost to stay along with resort fees!

Michael, on nights when we checked in was great. Answered all our questions and was a pleasure to deal with. The gentlemen at the parking were extremely polite and helpful as well. We liked the proximity to the beach and the view from our room. The pool area was great - very neat and clean. Highly recommend - with an oceanview room.

Property was super convenient and close to everything. Other than going to Pearl Harbour, we didn’t need to take a cab anywhere else. Hotel pool was nice, and beach is across the street just a few minutes walk away. Lots of shopping and food options nearby the property. Other than staying across the street at a property with direct access to Waikiki beach, we couldn’t ask for a better location. There are a couple of areas the hotel can improve on. I was surprised to see small toiletries bottles as most hotels have moved to using big ones (refillable, reusable and multiple uses for all guests), which is much better for the environment. Although the room and hotel was clean, there were ants in the bathroom countertop, and even after eliminating what I see, they keep coming back. It would also be nice to have an extra garbage bin below the bathroom countertop (there was one inside the bathroom and one by the couches). Also, there was no recycling bin in the hotel room.

It said Oceanview from room. It did but was adjacent, you have to look between two corner buildings. Would've liked a little more of a view. Bedside this no complaints. All was perfect! Our room was over a dumpster and it blasted foul air so.we had to use air conditioner that didnt cool the room. Despite the room location, the hotel was very nice and fun nightclub.

The hotel is located along the main strip of the Waikiki. Just across the street is direct access to the beach which is only a 5 minutes walk. Also the hotel is located amongst all the main stores and restaurants which is amazing!! If you have kids ask for a higher floor with ocean view as there is a bar/lounge right below the hotel and it gets loud at nights with live music. The Hawaiian aroma cafe located in the lobby of the hotel is an amazing breakfast/brunch spot that has delicious açai bowls!! (I had one every morning during our 8day stay;)) The rooms showed some age but overall nothing major that would make me change hotels. The pool is on the smaller side so if your kids enjoy playing in the pool then I would suggest you consider this when booking. Hale Koa hotel has an amazing outdoor pool with a slide but is located a 16min walk from the main Waikiki strip! Overall, our stay at Beachcomber was great. The staff was amazing and the location for the price spent is a great deal!! Mahalo see you again next year!!

This property was perfect for our one night stay in Waikiki. It is easily approachable by car, totally walkable to any shop or restaurant, is clean, and has a cool vibe. The Bell Staff especially were helpful and courteous. For one day, the restaurants on the property are fantastic for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Across the street is Waikiki Beach and a million other restaurants with oceanfront dining. The Beach Comber really was great and I’d highly recommend it.

The room was clean and the location very convenient. The staff were kind and helpful. The pool was the main disappointment as it was small and it was hard to find a spot in the mornings.

The pool is tiny and so overcrowded we couldn’t swim. Valet staff super friendly. Staff behind check in counter friendly but could be better. The restaurant food was not very nice to be honest. Room was clean.
