"The resort and rooms were clean, modern, and well kept. The outdoor pool was gorgeous and the staff was wonderful. Transportation to and from the resort was included with the rate. The buffet was very tasty and excellent. The beach was a one minute walk from the room. The resort was clean and safe even for a nighttime stroll on the beach. We got a chance to be around the locals and feel relatively safe. There was also some significant issues. It took the front desk 2 hours to get our room which was booked 2 months in advance. I arrived on the resort’s transportation with several other guests with young babies who also had to wait 2 hours for a room. After a long day of traveling, I was extremely tired and disappointed. I found the AC unit to be very loud, as if we had a truck in the room. But, it worked. We also had a issue with mosquitos and had to report twice to the front desk before any resolution. There was a black female clerk working the front desk who seemed to have all the service professionalism needed to finally get me a room and also have the foyer sprayed for mosquitoes. If not for her help, I would rate the experience poor. I spoke to the manager the following day about the 2 hour wait and any restitution. His response was the wait time was normal."

"If I could submit a 10 star rating, I would. Arca is beautiful. The beach is the best in the area. The staff are extremely attentive and generous. The food is excellent."

"I did a stopover weekend in this hotel ahead of checking into a different location where I would be meeting colleagues for a week of meetings. This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the American embassy , a supermarket, various salons for hair and beauty treatments, fun restaurants and coffee shops. The pool was full of families, so not an option for those seeking relaxation. Nonetheless there was a fun vibe with great music and people watching opportunities. The brunch time was packed...so not the space for a relaxing brunch experience. Yet the staff did their best to serve the greatest hospitality. The gym is spacious and open 24/7 which is a plus. Overall I would come back to this establishment. The only reason I am not staying there the rest of the week is because the team I'm picked a different hotel. I hope the other one provides the same spectacular service."

"I was very disapoibted with the Hotel! The Reception staff was very limited and really not helpful! booked 2 rooms on the same reservation and we were given rooms in really far apart from eachother and our party had kids who could not be apart. we asked for adjacent rooms and we were rudely told it was not in the instructions at time of reservation thefore it was done that way. Then we were told hotel was full and could not accomodate. I was looking forward to the breakfast buffet asper reviews ir was amazing, however the food was just blend, lots of blend options. rooms are very clean but outdated. I know it is an older hotel but they could do a better job in keeping to date. soroundings are great and all other amnenities were great they just really need to work on their customer service and get rooms updated. "
