"A smart looking property situated in a quiet back street near Plymouth Hoe. Easily identifiable by the sign outside. Clean and tidy rooms with wonderful staff. I parked overnight in a nearby car park. Great place to stay."

"The young girl who was on reception when I arrived on Thursday and on Friday morning was amazing. She was so helpful and went over and beyond what would be expected. "I don’t have a bad word to say about the New Continental hotel. From the Welcome to the departure. The rooms are lovely and the staff friendly .. the food at Steve’s Brasserie is fabulous. We stay here every time we visit Plymouth"

"Only complaint would be pillows, for me, flat firm pillows dont work. Staff is the best! They were always Super helpful. Location is good...close to the Barbican, aquarium, and waterfront. Room was very clean, well appointed and had great black-out drapes."

"Friendly staff, nice hot cooked breakfast, each item of breakfast food chosen from a menu, coffee very luke warm unfortunately, hotel clean, one small incident while we stayed but receptionist sorted it out straight away with understanding and courteous. The porter could have been a little more courteous and a little less grumpy but this didn't apply to the rest of the staff, they were kind and helpful."
