"Ideal location. Lovely views and walks. Amazing shower. very clean room.. Good comfort food with big portions. Staff outstanding , super friendly . Coffee and Tea in room, nice toiletries. Local bus stops right outside, local train service 5 minutes walk. Good beachcafe just outside, Comfortable lounge and relaxing area. Plenty local info on the Lake District. i would return. Start of coast to coast walk. "

"We had an amazing time. The hotel is lovely, every piece of decor & furniture is luxurious. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. We were booked in for B&B and breakfast was wonderful. When we arrived Liam checked us in & explained the town was experiencing power cuts & lifts weren’t working. As I have mobility issues they couldn’t give us our intended room instead we were given Room 2 Olive Mews and I can only describe it as heavenly, with it’s own spa. I booked a massage and it was great too. We are home now after being pampered & spoiled. I think we have found our new No.1 favourite hotel. Thank you"

"We were upgraded to a beautiful, clean and spacious room overlooking the front of the Hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - our bags were even taken up to our room for us. Buffet cooked breakfast is delicious and plentiful and the 3 course evening dinner is a nightly treat! The Hotel is ideally situated for walking in the National Park and close to shops, and local transport. All-in-all highly recommended!"
