"This was one of the most incredible experiences we had in Japan. The staff and service level are extraordinary. The 8 or 10 course meals at dinner and breakfast were an unbelievable experience. We traveled with young kids with varying degrees of adventurous eating and the staff was able to prepare dishes that were more western (mini sausages, fries, sunny side eggs). "I loved the onsite Onsen and style of traditional Japanese hotel rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful! Amenities were great! Beautiful hotel room view!
The only downside is that the hotel is located on the outskirts of Nagano, so plan ahead as it’s not easy to reach via walking. Shuttle buses are readily available however to help get around."
