"By far the staff team is the best thing about this hotel - friendly, helpful and attentive in just the right degree - advice: tip in cash - any tips added to a card bill do not get to the staff. Rooms: spacious, comfortable and spotless - a bit dated but hey, it's a classic building. Public areas: plush elegance - again a bit dated but comfortable and spacious although the position of the overly small bar causes problems getting to the restaurant at busy times. Restaurant: This was the big let down in terms of quality of food at dinner - both meals were overcooked and dried out - a pity because the restaurant is very well appointed and staff excellent. Breakfast was a little better but with tables too close to buffet (hot and cold), it was difficult to access and there are definite potential hazards. Parking: Additional charge of Β£5 per 24 hours is a bit if a scam (a lot of hotels seem to do this nowadays), especially having paid Β£326 for two rooms for one night B&B. Would stay again but would eat elsewhere."

"I booked one 3days then I decided to come earlier so I booked one more day Every day l had to go to reception to activate my door card My room was far away from reception The last day I found a bag full of rubbish left near some cake my girlfriend did for me The cleaner left this bag by mistake after cleaning my room so I had to throw the cake away The reception staff were very good Parking was fantastic Salman"

"Everything was excellent especially the response of the staff throughout from reception onwards. We did have garden view rooms which no doubt made a difference but I am sure the rest would have been as good. If I had to make any criticism it would be that he main bar could be made more user friendly but even in the difficult conditions the staff were excellent. Thoroughly recommended."

"We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the swimming pool very much. The food in the restaurant was good and the building itself was nice and with a unique circular shape. Our room was an amazing size for our family of 4, however our only cricism is that it was in need of renauvation as was quite dated and the furnishings looked very worn."
