"Only stayed one night coming back from our stay in Kruger but as soon as we got there we realised we should have booked for two. There are loads of things to do in the area that we were interested in and on site there were walks we could have taken surrounded by nature. "Very relaxing stay with helpful friendly staff. Relatively convenient for Kruger although we drove through Kruger ourselves so didn’t use the lodges excursions but those who did spoke highly of them. Great to walk round the immediate area with sightings of giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala and wart hogs. "

"Josef is a most gracious host, kind, attentive , accommodating, and and knowledgeable. The facilities are modern and clean, we lacked for nothing. Saw some lovely birds and even bushbabies right in the back yard at the pool. A safe bet for your first africa trip."

"Wir haben das Riverhaus (Familien-Chalet) für 4 Personen gebucht. Das war sehr schön und grosszügig. Die Tiere (Nyala, Warzenschweine usw.) konnten wir von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Im holzbefeuerten Whirpool (wird von den Mitarbeitern aufgeheizt, kostet zusätzlich) haben wir die Umgebung genossen, war toll. Auch sonst war alles sehr schön und bestens. Die morgendliche Anfahrt ins "Big-5-Gebiet" dauert etwas und man muss sich warm anziehen, lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall."
