"The hotel was a good value for the location. There were minimal amenities and at times I felt as though I was in a hostel. The walls were super thin. There was no water provided without purchase. However, the breakfast was amazing and the location to the train and entrance to Machu Picchu could not be better."

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating! You can hear nose fairly easily if people staying are not quiet but not much you can do to control that. There are signs to be quiet during late or early hours but some people don’t care lol."

"This, by far, was the noisiest hotel I’ve stayed at. Chairs scraping on hard floors, every footstep on the open staircase, loud music, carrying voices, slamming doors. Just the worst. The room did not in the slightest look like the pictures. It was a stuffy, tiny room with no window to outside; rather, it opened to some kind of shaft that allowed no fresh air. "We only stayed for 1 night and it was a bit small but it made sense for what we were doing. The staff was really helpful, check out was very early but i think that’s because it’s a high turnover being people treat it more as a passer through city."

"This hotel is a little off the beaten path. It’s about one block past the area that feels active and safe. The lobby is very sparsely decorated and not very welcoming. We had two rooms. One of our rooms had hot water problems. Lots of cold showers. In our other room, the outlets did not work. The hotel staff was very responsive in fixing that problem. Overall, it was just fine."

"The location was very convenient and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. However, they only spoke Spanish, which made communication quite difficult for international travelers who do not speak the language. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but better English communication would greatly improve the guest experience."
