"If you’re looking for a modern, stylish stay on the Gold Coast, Dorsett Gold Coast offers a generally enjoyable experience, with a few minor hiccups along the way. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a sleek, contemporary feel and a touch of Gold Coast glamour. The rooms are comfortable and well laid out, Overall, it has a boutique vibe that feels fresh and inviting. The location is a standout. Being in Broadbeach and connected to The Star precinct makes it incredibly convenient — everything from restaurants to the beach is within easy walking distance. Facilities are also good, particularly the pool area, which has a relaxed, resort-style feel. It’s a great space to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. However, there were a few minor issues that took away from the overall experience. On arrival, the room wasn’t quite up to standard, with things like a dusty window behind the blind that detracted from the presentation. The breakfast is held at the star and can quickly fill up. Service was generally friendly, but at times lacked consistency, e.g. organised a Wake up call that never came. Overall, Dorsett is a good option if you value style and location, but a little more attention to detail would elevate the experience. Rating: 3 out of 5"

"We booked here for a Pet Freindly stay to see if our dachshund would cope being a traveller. Well from the moment we booked communication was brilliant with the team about their needs for the dog and our needs of them. On arrival a friendly greeting from Ellie and checked in quickly. A small mini bar in the foyer, a book exchange and a morning coffee cart. In the pet friendly 1 bedroom was a dog bed, bowls, bluey mats, bags, treats and a toy. A welcome pup menu with different pup treats and pupcinno's.....this is a well oiled gig! Our girl had lots of pats from the staff. Everyone throughout the property was always happy and smiling and very efficient right down to text messaging to get information to guests each day. The room itself being well thought out with everything you could need. And the personal courtyard such a brilliant concept with pets. As a travel agent it has ticked all boxes for an apartment block."

"Our room was clean, tidy and had everything you'd expect in a mid-tier hotel. The staff are so friendly and approachable, and the buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise and exceptional for a hotel buffet. The heated tropical pool is of a generous size with a little slide for the kids (or kid within you!) This place is seriously slept on considering how close it is to all the hot tourist spots. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're on the Gold Coast!"
