"The building is like a maze, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was both heating and air conditioning as well as a window which could be opened. Breakfast on the Saturday was terrible, I was so disappointed and had to go elsewhere to eat. But the Sunday it was lovely so perhaps they were having an off day although it does make it expensive to have to pay again for breakfast. 100% recommend the breakfast on Sunday and the staff both days were really nice. I had lunch with my friend in the bar Saturday afternoon. She said her pasta was really good, my steak & chips were not great, I have had better at weatherspoons for 1/3 of the price. I was really surprised that I had to pay an additional £10 to use the pool, sauna and steam, I chose the hotel and spent more because it had those facilities, a bit of a con really, I have never had anything like this before. They had lots of parking spaces and the hotel was near the centre of town. Overall I was happy with the hotel, I felt safe and secure - something that is important to me."

"The staff were lovely and very helpful. The paint in the room needed cleaning or painted over in some area. The bathroom sink had cracks in it. The worst was the mattress. It was way too thin. Had to use quilt to try and give me some comfort . Didn't work. It was a disabled room."
