"Is this an old motel? Absolutely. Is it run down? Absolutely not. Yes, it has that 90s vibe with dated furniture, carpet, and an old-school phone, but it’s surprisingly well-kept. The sheets looked clean—no visible stains or hair (maybe I was lucky, but I appreciated it). Towels were neatly hung, and even the toilet paper was folded nicely. "Had a wonderful 3 days here. Madeleine and Ken, were excellent and helpful hosts, providing suggestions for walks, wineries and restaurants. The daily homemade breakfast was delicious and varied each day. We particularly loved the fresh homemade muffins and scones. Lovely touch to have access to complimentary snacks, fruit and drinks through the day as well. Great location, comfortable room and an easy walk into town. "
