"Nothing necessarily wrong with the hotel, it’s the area. It’s very secluded. We used it as a stop destination in our way to another location. It was nice and quiet at night though, very peaceful."

Without him, I would not have known what to do without a lot of email review. I am old, not a techie and that would have added to my exasperation of being misled by the map app. My room was very well kept. "So, we booked this about an hour ahead of being there. When we showed up, the office was closed. There was a sign on the door addressed to another guest and a phone number on the closed sign. Called the number and the owner of the property answered and apologized that he did not see the reservation come in and was away from the property. He asked us to wait 30 minutes so he could return to check us in. It got mostly better from there. Check in was pleasant and the owner was very apologetic...

"The place is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but parking is a pain. They need to paint lines. The instructions they give are to "park diagonally" but without lines in the tight parking area, people park like idiots and if you are last in, you'll have to park elsewhere. Both nights I stayed, I couldn't park in front of my unit because people park all over the place or even across 2-3 units. Everything else was fine."

"This property is beautiful. I especially enjoyed the grounds of the place. A hidden trove with beautiful cabins lush greenery all-around. The river is hidden behind the cabins so you can fly fish. We did the train car rails, through the forest, and it was so much fun."
