"Really enjoyed my stay. My daughter and I felt very safe all during our stay. I appreciated the enclosed parking garage because it rained both days. I liked the selection of restaurants and the variety of food choices. The casinos we very clean and well attended. I was happy we had the option of self checkout. I would recommend the Horseshoe to anyone. "

"We've stayed at this hotel a few different times. It's very convenient to walk to the festival area we attend every year as well as the Marti Gras parades. The elevators are slow during busy times and we just take the stairs instead. It has a restaurant and bar, but we haven't ever ate or bought any drinks from either of them as of yet. "

"Friendly staff, lovely room with a jacuzzi tub, great food and won at roulette. Stayed to ride out tornado weather and it felt like a lithe mini vacation. "

"We enjoyed margaritaville shreveport. We dined on property at Jimmys- the waiter Chris was stand up. We only stayed one night but it was a great location, safe secure parking with a valet option. The ladies at the front desk were prompt to assist all guests as they arrived. We also had complimentary drinks in our room- was nice added touch! The room had a lovely balcony with a river view. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to family and friends. "

"Terrific little historic hotel with a lot of vintage charm. Right downtown -- walking distance to the river, nearby casinos, and (in our case) the Mudbug Madness Festival. The staff was particularly warm and inviting -- offering terrific local advise and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place should be on your radar screen when visiting Shreveport!"
