"The El Prado was a lovely hotel to stay while visiting family in Palo Alto. Room was spacious, and had a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and pleasant decor. Location was convenient for walking to restaurants and small shops. There s no restaurant at the hotel, but you can order room service for breakfast, which was very good! I would stay at this property again."

"Rooms are excellent in terms of cleanliness, contemporary and minimalistic decor, and technologically advanced lighting/toilet/TV. Fitness gym has Peloton, weights, and high-end treadmills. Nobu restaurant is high on taste. Worth the high expense!"

"Breakfast was wonderful and all of the amenities were very good. The only thing was that a couple times my key card wouldn’t work so I had to get it replaced a couple times. Still very worth it and I plan on staying here again."

"Front Desk Lady did not know where my Room was located. I was given the Key to Rm. 137...2nd floor Unfortunately, the Room was NOT SEQUENCED accordingly. I had to LOOK for it. After Rm.135...136... It was a DEAD END. THERE WAS NO ROOM 137 ! I confronted this Lady . She told me to go to the other end... I saw... Rm 132..134... Still I couldn't locate my assigned Rm. 137 !!!!"

"Clean room. Location was a little further away from campus than I thought. Rooms are all outside. They do offer free breakfast in the am which isn’t bad. They have hot items including eggs, potatoes, bacon & sausage. Waffle machine. A few drink options. Not bad at all. My bed was just softer than I like so I didn’t sleep as well. Overall decent place to stay. "

"The room look bare, no decor lots of patchwork on the walls. It just didn’t feel very welcoming or pretty, but it was quiet and the room was roomy, the water was warm and the coffee maker worked well so it wasn’t terrible. The outside of the building needed some work as well."

It is located in the middle of town, so even though we arrived pretty late, there were still many restaurants open within a few minutes’ walking distance. I saw some comments complaining about the difficulty of finding the hotel, but for us it was very easy.
