Highly recommend this hotel. It’s very nice & the staff are very friendly. George our bartender was amazing. Restaurants near by and plenty of beach spots that are walkable. I love how helpful they are with baggage and giving you a place to shower & leave luggage even after you check out. Breakfast was also amazing.

This place is a hidden gem! 20 mins outside of Heraklion in a nice small town called Gournes. I honestly cannot say enough about this place. Staff is awesome. George at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. For example: we ordered a taxi pickup for leaving at 645am and he brought a bagged lunch to our room the night prior since we would miss the breakfast…..little things like that happened constantly. The guy at the restaurant was also a standout…wish I remembered his name. Every single staff member was fantastic. Rooms were super clean and ac cooled the room down quickly. Food at the restaurant was great. Pool area and the pool bar was perfect too, awesome for families as we saw or couples like us. Wish I could put into words how much we enjoyed our stay here! Thanks so much for the experience!!!

Absolument pas digne d'un 4 etoiles... le petit dejeuner semble etre des restes de la veille L'état des chambres.... vieillit, la clim fait un bruit infernale. La piscine est pleine de feuilles Il n'y a pas grand choses à faire aux alentours, seulement quelques restaurants La femme de ménage se permet de faire le ménage alors que vous êtes encore dans le logement en train de vous préparer... Bref, il y a tant de choses à redire, je déconseille

Agréable séjour

Séjour très agréable. L'accueil est chaleureux et bienveillant, les chambres sont spacieuses, bien aménagées et propres. L'offre restauration (diner et petit déjeuner) offre un excellent rapport qualité prix, même si les produits proposés au petit déjeuner devraient être de meilleure qualité (jus d'orange, boissons chaudes entre autres). à recommander sans hésiter pour une halte d'une nuit à l'arrivée ou au départ d'Héraklion.

Wir waren als Paar unterwegs und hatten auf der Durchreise nur für eine Nacht gebucht. Wir wurden sehr nett und herzlich empfangen. Wir hatten ein Wohnzimmer mit Balkon und Poolblick sowie ein Schlafzimmer, ebenfalls am durchgängigen Balkon mit Poolblick. Die Räume waren sehr gepflegt, das Bett sehr bequem. Lediglich die Auswahl beim Frühstück könnte etwas besser sein. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden das Hotel gerne noch mal besuchen.

Wir hatten ein Eco-Zimmer gebucht und mussten bei Ankunft feststellen, dass diese erheblich von den hier gezeigten Bildern abweichen. Das Zimmer war dunkel und nicht renoviert wie die anderen Zimmer. Alle Wasseranschlüsse waren mit Schimmel befallen, die Fugen in der Dusche ebenfalls und die Armaturen waren hart verkalkt. Aus dem Sicherungskasten hingen lose Sicherungen. Toilettenpapier muss gesondert im Mülleimer entsorgt werden. Wer hier einen 4*-Standard erwartet, wird enttäuscht sein: Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr lieblos, es gibt wenig Auswahl und man hat direkt das Gefühl, dass nur die typischen Speisen angeboten werden, um dem "interkontinentalen" Standard gerecht zu werden (Eier, Würsten, Bohnen in Soße) - vermutlich auch um den 4. Stern zu erlangen. Ausgewechselt wurde während unseres 7-tägigen Aufenthalts nichts. Zur Lage: Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer, längere Sandstrände sucht man hier allerdings vergebens. Vielmehr liegen vor dem Hotel viele Buchten, in denen das Meerwasser hoch schnalzt. Ein paar freie Flächen mit Liegen sind abseits vorhanden. Eine Promenade mit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants gibt es hier nicht. Viele leere Häuser und ein paar wenige Restaurants, 1-2 kleine Supermärkte zieren die längere Straße am Hotel. Die nächste Busstation, um in etwas lebendigere Gebiete oder zum Flughafen zu kommen, ist zu Fuß in ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Fazit: Günstig, aber für uns absolut keine 4 Sterne wert. Dann lieber 3 Sterne und die Qualität stimmt!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Mein Zimmer war ein altes und nicht so sauber und hat gestinkt. Vor allem die Nasszelle war nicht schön. Ich habe Halbpension gebucht und war sehr enttäuscht, das Buffet war sehr klein und nicht frisches Essen. Ich habe oft auswärts gegessen oder à la carte bestellt und musste dann natürlich einen Aufpreis bezahlen. Achtung da das Hotel so nahe am Flughafen ist, hört man die Flugzeuge sehr gut. Der Strand vor dem Hotel ist sehr wellig und nicht schön zum Baden.

Jättefint hotel med allt man kan behöva. Har inget att klaga på! Dock är det värt att nämna att hotellet inte ligger centralt, man kan ta sig med taxi till Heraklion och Hersonissos utan problem om man vill ha lite mer liv. Vill man stanna i Gournes finns restauranger och strand på gångavstånd till hotellet, här är det lugn och stillsamt. Fint resmål om man reser som par eller familj. Kan varmt rekommendera, personalen är jätte hjälpsam och Joanna gjorde vår vistelse fantastiskt.

Le personnel au top, la localisation (proche de la plage 5 minutes à pied, centre ville, aéroport). La piscine est bien grande et la chambre spacieuse avec si vous êtes à l’étage, une vue sur le couché de soleil.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour après notre mariage un hôtel tranquille et très reposant. Un très belle appart hôtel très spacieux et très propre. Une équipe au service de sa clientèle notamment la responsable Rania qui est très accueillante génial très gentil le chef du restaurant très a l'écoute et attentif à sont équipe et un service au bar au top. Je recommande vivement ce superbe hôtel.

Nice hotel

Lovely hotel/suites about 20 minutes drive from Heraklion city centre. The property is very nicely updated, clean, lovely pool. We were 4 travelers, 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 10 and 12). We stayed in a one bedroom suite overlooking the sea. Our bedroom was large with a nice balcony. The kids slept on convertible sofas that were very comfortable. Even with the sofas converted to beds, we still had plenty of room in the apartment. The kitchen was a nice size, but we didn't use it and there was also a nice table and chairs. The bathroom was clean with great water pressure. The property has a nice restaurant, bar by the pool and offers the use of pool/beach towels. Our only issue was there was only one air conditioner unit in the apartment. It was located in the bedroom and never seemed to cool down the main area very well. The bedroom was cooled off well, but not the main area and the kids were warm while sleeping. Overall, great place to stay and we'd recommend staying here! Lots of great restaurants within a short walking distance.
