nice staff, dissapointing room

Friendly staff and good quiet location. Room was dissapointing. Toilet lid & seat that won't stay upright, shower head that you can't hang on the wall. Shower curtain about 10 cm too short so the floor is soaking wet after you shower, including the floor around the toilet right next to it. 20 euros per week for A/C that only runs when you're in the room as there is no electricity without the room key. So don't be back too late or you'll stil not sleep from the heat. Fresh towels twice a week advertised but never saw fresh ones in the week that we stayed there. Most dissapointing was the room cleanliness: ants all over the floor, garbage bins were emptied once after 3 days. Didn't have the heart to inspect the matressess too closely. Had my wife been with my daughter and I, I'm sure she would have refused to stay here.

Quiet and small location in the old town of Malia

The rooms and the area around is basic and simple. Cleaning is not done daily, as it says on the sheet of paper hanging on the door. But sure you can ask if necessary, because the family that runs this apartment is realy helpfull and friendly. Specially the girl, we think her name is Malina..she even bought us drinks :-).Her mom cleans the rooms, doesn't speak english but she was realy kind. When it's realy hot, the cicades in the trees will make a lot of noise, but you can't hear them if you close all the windows/doors (only in daytime). Not many rooms in this place, so not too many people..it's nice and calm. We had a good time and will remember this place.

Stella, sjefen sjølv gjør en god jobb og er svært hyggelig. Dette er et appartment for unge festmennesker. Til dette bruk er det ypperlig. Prisen er svært rimelig, så derfor skal man ikke forvente all verden. Vi koste oss. Der er en vakt rundt appartmentet om natten. Han er proffesjonell og gjør en glimrende jobb. Her som alle andre steder der engelsk ungdom er, blir det roping og skriking. Vakten tar seg av dette. I baren ved bassenget er det hyggelig å ta seg en forfriskning. Kjekt å samtale med Stella og compani. Ligger i gangavstand fra Malia sentrum. Mange gode og billige restauranter. Kjempeliv, for dem som liker det....:-)
