"Customer service was great, and parking was easy. There’s a convenient restaurant on the grounds, and the candy at the counter during check-in and check-out was a nice touch. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the sheets were fresh. The view of downtown was beautiful—especially at sunrise and sunset. I didn’t hear much noise from the freeway and slept very well."

"Excellent excellent excellent. Every employee at The Marlene was so kind, so helpful, and so generous. We chose The Marlene to stay while we were in town for two days during our son's surgery, and it was perfect. They greeted our son by name when we arrived and were always checking in on how he was doing. We stayed in the Cottage and loved it. It felt like the property was ours. We cannot wait to go back for another stay or visit to Bar Madonna. We are absolutely in love with The Marlene...
